These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all sales made through the website https://sayborn.com/.

ARTICLE 2: ORDERS

Automated order recording systems are considered as proof of the nature and content of the order. SayBorn confirms acceptance of the order to the customer via the email address provided. The sale is finalised upon confirmation of payment by SayBorn — either on the date of online payment validation by credit card or on the date of receipt of the cheque. SayBorn reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order from a customer with whom there is an existing dispute concerning payment of a prior order.

ARTICLE 3: PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

As long as our offers and prices are visible on the website, they remain valid. Availability shown at the time of consultation is subject to stock status with SayBorn and its suppliers.

Our online catalogue is based on data provided by suppliers and may contain hundreds of products, not all of which are held in stock. Availability is therefore subject to suppliers.

A product is only removed from the website if it becomes permanently unavailable from suppliers. In other cases, a restock may occur.

If an ordered product is unavailable, the customer will be informed by email or on the dispatch invoice in the case of a multi-item order.

Delivery deadlines are given at the time of ordering and in the order confirmation email. They are calculated based on the longest product availability plus the selected shipping method.

Pre-orders: Products marked as pre-orders are offered on sayborn.com with an expected release date provided by the publisher. This date may be modified by the publisher at any time. SayBorn endeavours to dispatch pre-ordered items on release date, subject to supplier stock availability.

ARTICLE 4: PRICES

Prices are shown in GBP (£) and are inclusive of VAT but exclude shipping costs. Prices include handling, packaging and storage costs. Prices may be modified at any time without notice. Orders are invoiced at the rate in effect at the time of registration. Any customs fees or local taxes remain the responsibility of the recipient.

ARTICLE 5: SHIPPING FEES

Shipping costs include handling, packaging, and postage. We recommend grouping all items in a single order. We cannot combine separate orders, and shipping fees will apply to each.

ARTICLE 6: PAYMENT

You may pay using several secure options:

Payment is processed through secure payment gateways, and no banking information passes through sayborn.com. Once payment is approved by the bank, the order is validated and processed.

ARTICLE 7: DELIVERY

We deliver to home addresses or collection points. Delivery times include order preparation and shipping. SayBorn ships worldwide. Customers are notified by email at key stages: preparation and dispatch.

The stated delivery time of 7 to 10 days starts from the dispatch confirmation email. SayBorn cannot be held responsible for delays beyond this timeframe caused by the carrier.

ARTICLE 8: WARRANTY – RETURNS – REFUNDS – CANCELLATION

All items sold on sayborn.com are new and guaranteed against defects. They are identical to retail products and sourced from recognised suppliers.

If an item is defective or non-conforming, the buyer has 15 working days from receipt to request an exchange or refund. If the 15-day period ends on a weekend or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day.

Items must be returned unused, in original packaging, with all accessories, manuals and documentation. The buyer must send proof of defect to contact@sayborn.com (description and photos).

In case of cancellation, SayBorn will refund the customer within 14 working days, excluding return shipping costs. Refunds are issued within 14 days of receipt of the returned item(s). Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. No cash-on-delivery returns will be accepted.

ARTICLE 9: TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP – TRANSFER OF RISK

Ownership is transferred to the buyer only after full payment. Risk of loss or damage passes upon delivery and receipt of the goods by the buyer.

ARTICLE 10: DATA PROTECTION

SayBorn is the producer and owner of part or all of the databases on this site. By accessing sayborn.com, the customer acknowledges that the data is legally protected and agrees not to extract, reuse, store, reproduce, or retain any substantial part of the content in any form or by any means.

ARTICLE 11: LIABILITY

Product descriptions on sayborn.com are based on supplier information. SayBorn is not responsible for the content of works and shall not be held liable. SayBorn shall not be held liable for events of force majeure (strikes, floods, fire, etc.).

Products comply with applicable UK laws. SayBorn declines all responsibility if an item does not comply with the legislation of the delivery country (e.g., censorship). SayBorn is not responsible for the content of external websites linked from its site.

ARTICLE 12: APPLICABLE LAW

All terms herein and related sales transactions are governed by US law.

ARTICLE 13: CUSTOMER ACCEPTANCE

These terms and prices are expressly accepted by the buyer, who acknowledges full knowledge thereof and waives the right to rely on contradictory documents, particularly their own terms of purchase. A confirmed purchase implies acceptance of these terms.
